Easter Outfits
Sweet Pam gave my 3 boys adorable Easter outfits. As the old saying goes, "a picture is worth a thousand words." Here are a few words the following pictures say: "wow, it is extremely difficult to take a decent picture of 3 antsy boys but it might just work if you hand out some juice boxes, give the baby a pacifier, and are quick with your picture-taking finger."
4 years old
Marcus turned 4 years old on April 13th. We celebrated with cupcakes at pre-school, a small neighborhood birthday party (plus Marcus' best friend Andrew), and lunch at McDonald's on his actual b-day.
Marcus received "Rocket" (from Little Einsteins) and a dart gun from mom and dad, and lots of generous gifts from his friends.
Uncle Joshua and Pam helped out at the birthday party. We dyed Easter eggs, beat up daddy with balloons, ate pizza, opened presents, went on an Easter egg hunt in the backyard, ate cake, went on a tractor ride and played with Marcus' new toys. All of the children were very well behaved!
An afterthought - While I was helping Marcus open his presents, Holden methodically went around and ate the rest of everyone's pizza.

Blessing Day and Conference Weekend
Kjell blessed William Wetherill McCord in church on March 29, 2009. It was a beautiful blessing and Wether was wide awake during the whole thing but did not cry. After church, a few friends and family came over for Kjell's famous Swedish pancakes, buttermilk syrup, and fruit salad. It was a special day that made me once again count my blessings for the sweet boys we have to raise.
This weekend was General Conference and we were happy to have Kjell's brothers Bjorn (age 20 tomorrow and visiting from BYU-Idaho) and Joshua (age 23 on 4/11) watch it with us. Pam joined us for a session as well.

Numbers that make me HAPPY!
1. 10 down, 10 to go...pounds that is. I've reached the halfway point in my post-baby weight-loss goal of losing the 20 pounds I gained during pregnancy. Yeah! Jogging at the Orem Fitness Center 3 times a week while Marcus has swim lessons has contributed. Not to mention the 27 times a day I go up and down 3 flights of stairs and the 7 times a day I nurse a hungry baby. That's gotta help.
2. 20/15 and 20/15 - the prescription in each eye 1 year after having LASIK. Something I don't miss - contacts and glasses. I LOVE my perfect vision.
3. 8 hours - how long Wether is sleeping at night for the past 3 nights. And to answer your question Jenn, yes, I am still doing BabyWise. I swear by it.
4. 3 months - how long Kjell has left of his EMBA program at BYU. Only 3 more months of Kjell being gone on Tuesday and Thursday nights. He's wondering what he's going to do with himself actually being home most nights. Don't worry hon, I have lists:) Here are 3 things at the top of my list: Marcus, Holden, Wether.
5. 4 and 2 years-old - how old Marcus and Holden will be in April and May, respectively. It will sound a lot better when I visit Connecticut at the end of May to say "I have a 4 year-old, a 2 year-old and newborn" then to say "I have a 3 year-old, a 1 year-old and a baby," especially when people are already looking at you like you are crazy (that includes you, grandpa).
6. 20 dollars - how much it cost for a Coby MP3 player from amazon.com, earbuds, a battery, a USB extender, shipping, and 50 free songs from emusic.com. Does that sound like a deal to anyone else? It was money well spent, since listening to music has helped motivate me to run (see #1).
7. 14 days - how long Marcus, Holden, Wether, and I will be visiting Connecticut and Long Island in May and June. Kjell will be traveling through Japan, China, and Thailand during this time for his EMBA foreign excursion (we'll certainly miss him!), but that will just leave more time for grandma and grandpa to play with the boys...right?
8. 16 - the number of minutes I've let the boys run wild so I could write this post. 45 - the number of minutes it will take me to clean up all of the inevitable messes I will find around the house all the while holding the baby in my arms. 11 - the number of times a day I think to myself "I love being a mom!" and mean it.
