Titles start getting a little lengthy when you take a break from blogging too long....
Kjell has been "Mr. Mom" for 2 weekends in a row due to my LASIK surgery on March 21st and the unexplainable, extremely painful, leg pain I experienced last weekend (it turned out to be sciatica) and to be honest it was quite a nice, if brief, break. I am grately enjoying my newfound eyesight and have especially noticed new details on the gorgeous mountains that surround us. The first picture is the view from Holden's room (Mt. Timpanogos) and the 2nd picture is the view from Marcus' room on a not very clear day (please ignore the half torn-down deck we have yet to replace). Are these boys lucky or what?!
Marcus now only wears diapers at night after lots of shameless bribing. He's done remarkably well in his potty training thanks to stickers, candy, presents, Thomas the Tank Engine underwear...well, you get the idea. Marcus has his first dentist appointment this week, days before his 3rd birthday. Speaking of teeth, Holden now has 3! The way he eats, he wishes he had more.
We turned half of a large storage area into a playroom for the kids, as can be see in the "before and after" pics. The previous owners left the entertainment center for us, which I spray-painted bright red (with the help of Melissa Smith, thanks:)
We look forward to Kjell's brothers Bjorn and Joshua to visit us from BYU Idaho this week.

Hooray for potty training! We aren't quite there yet. Great work on the playroom! And good for you getting LASIK. So much excitement in the McCord family!
Wow! You are a busy girl. The play room looks fabulous. I love spray paint! Congrats on potty training. That's a huge step!
I'm so happy to see the toy storage standing! :) It turned out really cute.
Hey Olivia,
Sounds like you've been busy! Congrats on the lasik and I'm really sorry about your leg. What is sciatica? Are you okay now? We REALLY need to get together again!Let me know when ok?

BTW Olivia, the fenrisar comment is actually a virus or predator of some kind! Don't open it, but DO delete it!Dave gets that one and others like it on his illustration blog all the time. :(
